#7 Quilt as you go – wonky Stars using tula pink
Hello Lovely Crafters, come and sew with me as I make this colourful Quilt As You Go Wonky Star baby quilt using beautiful Tula Pink, Floral Reef fabrics and a soft Kona Aqua background.
This quilt was made as a special gift for a baby and was designed to celebrate the colours of a tropical reef. I share the process the from sewing the wonky star blocks, quilting each section individually, and joining everything together using the Quilt As You Go method.
Whether you’re new to Quilt As You Go or looking for a fun way to use your favourite fabrics, I hope this tutorial inspires you to create a quilt that will be treasured for years to come. In this video:
- Making wonky star blocks
- Quilt As You Go construction
- Thick 12 wt. quilting thread with 5 mm stitch length
- Hand Quilting and Finished quilt reveal.
This quilt has now travelled to its new home, and seeing Reya wrapped up in it made every stitch worthwhile. 💙 If you enjoyed this video, I’d love it if you would Like, Subscribe, and leave me a comment.
I’d love to know what you’d make with this pattern
